It is a bit like Elden Ring or any Souls game, where your levels get more expensive as you go. The thing to remember about skills is that every skill you invest in makes all other skills more expensive. Once you have these you can return to island one and start destroying the main portals. You need a fast mount (I come back to island one from two immediately to start the game with the griffin and archer upgrade), you need the BAKER (absolutely necessary), and you need iron.
